How It All Began About Us

The Heart Behind the Mission

Abundant Blessing Ministries began with the compassion of two women from the United States, whose hearts were moved by the needs of children and women during their early trips to Uganda. Over the course of six visits, they served faithfully—but also witnessed the deep challenges caused by financial mismanagement within the ministries they partnered with. Rather than giving up, they chose a better way. In the midst of their service, they met four young Ugandan Christians—bright, humble, and passionate about sharing God’s love with integrity. Inspired by their honesty and commitment, the two women joined hands with them, and together they founded Abundant Blessing Ministries: a Christ-centered ministry built on love, accountability, and a deep desire to serve the people of Uganda with both faith and action.

OUR MISSION

Our Mission is to bring the Ugandan people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. This will be done by proclaiming the gospel as we strive to meet physical, spiritual and emotional needs, with humility, in the name of Jesus.

OUR VISION

Our Vision is to use Christian teaching and principles to improve the quality of life for marginalized people of Uganda. We will strive to look for opportunities to provide for physical needs and to use informal education to teach Christian principles and life skills to strengthen children, families and communities
