The Maize Mill Project enables rural farmers to process their harvest locally, saving them time, cost, and long travel distances. By milling maize into flour, families can prepare staple meals affordably and sell the extra to generate income.
Beyond food, this project transforms leftovers (husks and bran) into free pig feed — powering our Pigs for Progress project. This circular economy benefits both farmers and livestock keepers.
Operated by trained locals, the mill also creates employment and builds community ownership in agricultural sustainability.
