Free Village School
Short Story
Offering village children the gift of literacy, love, and a brighter future — for free.
Story
Opening doors to education for children in underserved rural communities.

The Free Village School is our answer to the silent crisis of illiteracy in rural areas. Many of the children we serve were previously herding animals, helping in fields, or idle at home with no hope of formal education. Today, thanks to our teachers and supporters, they are learning to read, write, dream, and thrive.
We teach a holistic curriculum — including English, math, hygiene, gardening, Bible stories, and basic life skills. The school also provides a daily meal, uniforms, and emotional support, ensuring every child can learn with dignity and joy.
What the School Has Achieved
- ✅ 250+ children now receive free primary-level education
- ✅ Reduced child labor and early marriages in 3 local villages
- ✅ Improved nutrition and hygiene awareness among families
- ✅ 1st generation learners beginning to dream of higher education
“Before the school, my daughter stayed home. Now she reads stories to me and wants to be a nurse.”
— Grace, parent in Kaziba village
